A businessman was abducted from his Dhaka office on Wednesday afternoon by men posing as members of the Detective Branch (DB) of police. The victim is Abdullah Al Mamun, 32, who owns a travel agency. On Thursday, Mamoon’s relatives alleged that he was taken away from his home in the city’s Bijoynagar around 1:30pm on Wednesday by a group of 7/8 men posing as detectives.
