Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in next 24 hours until 6pm today (Wednesday), reports UNB.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, Met office said.

The country's highest temperature 34.7 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Mymensingh and Tangail and lowest 24.2 degrees in Rangamati.

The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka on Tuesday was 33.2 degrees Celsius while the lowest was 25.5 degrees.

The sun sets in the capital today (Wednesday) at 6:25 pm and rises tomorrow (Thursday) at 05:37 am.
