Top 10 companies Wednesday grabbed 27.90 per cent of the turnover featured by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

On the day, the premier bourse DSE featured a turnover of above Tk 8.66 billion which was 8.0 per cent less than the turnover of previous session.

On the day of marginal correction in turnover and key index, Generations Next Fashions topped the turnover chart of the premier bourse.

The company featured a turnover of Tk 367.30 million and captured 4.20 per cent of the market turnover. The company's share price rose 2.50 per cent to close at Tk 12.20 per share.

C & A Textile contributed 4.10 per cent in market turnover featuring a value of Tk 355.80 million. On Wednesday, the company's shares were traded at a price ranging Tk 13.70 to Tk 14.30 per share.

IFAD Autos featured a turnover of Tk 326.50 million and captured 3.80 per cent of the market turnover. The company's share trading closed at Tk 161.40 per share with a rise of 3.33 per cent or Tk 5.20.

The turnover of BBS Cables was Tk 297.70 million and captured 3.40 per cent of the turnover featured by the DSE. The company's share price rose 6.25 per cent or Tk 6.90 and trading closed at Tk 111.60.

Confidence Cement contributed 2.70 per cent in market turnover featuring a value of Tk 235.30 million. The company's share trading closed at Tk 163.30 per share with a rise of 3.58 per cent or Tk 5.70.

IFIC Bank grabbed 2.40 per cent of the market turnover with its own turnover of Tk 212.10 million. The company's share price declined 0.99 per cent and trading closed at Tk 19.80 per share.
