Dhaka, New Delhi enjoy best ties: Sushma

Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said Bangladesh and India are now enjoying the best relationship with India.

At one stage of  discussion on ‘India’s foreign policy and engagement with strategic partners’ on Thursday she said Bangladesh and Bhutan have best ties with India, reports UNB.

Sushma Swaraj, in the Rajya Sabha, claimed India’s foreign policy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi was so strong that India was setting the world agenda and rejected the charge that India was standing isolated at the world stage, according to Indian media outlets.

Issues related to China and Pakistan also came up in the discussion. Talking about Pakistan, she said, “Terror and talks can’t go together.”
