Young man held with 1.98 lakh fake Indian rupees in Rajshahi

Youth held with fake Indian currency
Members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) arrested a young man along with 1.98 lakh fake Indian rupees from Kashiadanga intersection in the city on Saturday, reports UNB.

Tipped off, a team of the armed police intercepted a bus there and arrested Abdus Salam, 38, son of Mohammad Islam, a resident of Monohorpur village in Shubganj upazila of Chapainawabganj, around 4.30pm, said Aman Ullah, officer-in-charge of Rajpara Police Station.

Later, the APBn members recovered the fake Indian rupees after searching his body.

A case has been filed.
