
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) will remove 0.3 million cubic feet of waste materials from the Buriganga, a press release said.
The clean-up of the river-bed will be carried out within one kilometre upstream and downstream of the second Buriganga bridge in the first phase, which started on January 6.
