
Health Department has detected about 300 cases of H1N1 virus infected poultry birds, popularly known as bird-flu, during January-June period of this year.
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) under the Health Ministry announced that it has documented a total of 298 cases of bird-flu during the period, raising the overall figure to 1,183.
