Sheikh Jamal take solo lead beating Feni Soccer by 2-1

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club took a solo lead in the Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League beating Feni Soccer Club by 2-1 goals in a hard-fought match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city Monday, reports UNB.
By virtue of the day's victory, Sheikh Jamal DC advanced to the top slot in the league table securing 16 points from six matches ahead of Sheikh Russell KC, which bagged 15 points from six outings. Feni Soccer Club remained at their previous credit of three points from seven matches.
In the day's match, Feni Soccer was unlucky in the very 3rd minute when their Nigerian forward Vitory Antony saw his left-footed placing shot cleared from the goal line by Sk Jamal defender Yeamin Ahmed Munna.
In the 15th minute, Yeamin Munna failed to beat Feni Soccer goalie Uzzal in one-to-one situation in the danger zone after getting a through pass from Sunday Chizoba .
Sk Jamal took the lead in the 78th minute as their Nigerian forward Mike Otjareri placed the ball home in the far corner of the net, utilizing a curving cross of his compatriot Sunday Chizoba from right flank (1-0).
Feni Soccer Club leveled the margin in the 86th minute as their Nigerian booter Vitory Antony's side volley kissed the net (1-1).
But their joy was very short lived as Sheikh Jamal winger Shakil fired the Soccer net by a fierce volley from left flank in the very next minute (2-1).
