The election of Office Bearers (Executive Committee) for the term 2013-2014 of Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers' Association (BAFEDA) was held recently in the conference room of the Association in the city.

S. M. Aminur Rahman, CEO & Managing Director of Janata Bank Limited was unanimously elected as Chairman of BAFEDA.

Mohammed Nurul Amin, Managing Director of NCC Bank Limited and Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited were elected as Vice Chairman and Treasurer of BAFEDA respectively.
The other members of the Executive Committee are Mr. Pradip Kumar Dutta, CEO & Managing Director of Sonani Bank Limited, Mr. Jim McCabe, Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, Mr. Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO of Pubali Bank Limited, Mr. Anis A Khan, Managing Director & CEO of Mutual Trust Bank Limited,     Mr. Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director & CEO of Eastern Bank Limited and Mr. M. Farid Uddin, Managing Director of Rupali Bank Limited. 
Mr. Kazi Faqurul Islam, Managing Director of BASIC Bank Limited was Chairman of the Election Board of BAFEDA. Other members of the Election Board were Mr. Md. Abdus Salam, Managing Director Bangladesh Krishi Bank and Mr. Pinak Chakraborty, Country Head, Bangladesh Operations of State Bank of India.
