Indian national dies in Benapole road crash
An Indian national was killed and six local people were injured as a private car crashed into a bus at Navarun on Jessore-Benapole road in Jessore district on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Angon Sarker, 35, son of Manik Sarker, hailing from Bangaon area of West Bengal, India, reports UNB.

Sub-inspector Murad of Sharsha Police Station said the accident took place when the Benapole-bound private car carrying them collided with the Jessore-bound bus around 10:00am, leaving Angon dead on the spot and six Bangladesh nationals injured.

On information, police rushed in and took the injured to Jessore Medical College Hospital. Angon's body was also taken to the hospital for autopsy.

Angon was returning India after visiting Bangladesh, police said.
