Titanium Grocery Credit Card for Shwapno shoppers

The Mastercard in partnership with EBL launched a co-branded First Titanium Grocery Credit Card in Bangladesh on Thursday for Shwapno customers.

The cardholders will be eligible for 2.5 per cent cash voucher on monthly shopping and other benefits and will get Shwapno loyalty points which can be redeemed at any Shwapno outlet as well.

The launching ceremony held at a city hotel was attended, among others, by Managing Director of the Eastern Bank Limited Ali Reza Iftekhar, Executive Director of the ACI Logistics Ltd (Shwapno) Sabbir Hasan Nasir and the Country Manager of Mastercard Syed Mohammad Kamal.

Speaking on the occasion, Ali Reza Iftekhar said grocery shopping is an integral part of day-to-day life and this card will make it simpler and hassle-free.

"I hope that as a payment tool for both online and offline transactions, it will come with a host of added advantages that constantly reward the shoppers.

Sabbir Hasan Nasir said, "As the largest retail chain in the country with a network of 63 outlets, Shwapno has strived to offer the best retail experience to its customers."

"I hope this new card will create a shopping experience that will be without stress or difficulty, while rewarding them in various ways such as monthly cash vouchers and reward points," he added.

The card has no issuance fee for the first year and from the 2nd year onward, there is no annual charge with a minimum of 18 transactions over the year. Cardholders will also have access to the EBL Sky Lounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and Shah Amanat International Airport, Chittagong and  would be eligible to avail Half Interest Pay Order (HiPO) facility and the buy-one-get-one offer at The Westin.
