PM attends milad at Bangabandhu museum

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended a milad and doa mahfil in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi in the capital on Tuesday.

The programme was arranged marking the 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, reports UNB.

Bangabandhu's younger daughter Sheikh Rehana as well as other family members and relatives of the Prime Minister, Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury and leaders and workers of Mohila Awami League and Jubo Mohila League joined the milad arranged by Mohila Awami League after Asr prayers.

A special munajat was offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu, Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Mujib and other martyrs of the August 15 carnage.

Prayers were also offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of the August 21 grenade attack victims.
