Man ‘commits suicide’ in Rajshahi 

Indigenous man ‘hangs himself’
An indigenous man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at Paruliya village in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Ratan Chandra, 40, son of Molin Chandra, a resident of Choyghati village of the upazila, reports UNB.

Hipzur Alam Munsi, officer-in-charge of Godagari Police Station, said that Ratan used to live at his father-in-law's house.

Family members spotted his hanging body in the afternoon and informed police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.

Police also recovered a suicidal note from his waist.

The reason behind suicide could not be known immediately.
