Liverpool reject Barcelona’s £90m bid for Coutinho

Liverpool have reportedly rejected a second bid of £90 million from Barcelona for their star player Philippe Coutinho.

Jurgen Klopp has maintained that Liverpool will do everything possible to hold on to the 25-year-old winger.

The Catalan giants are desperately looking to fill the void left by Neymar’s £198 million move to PSG, with Coutinho believed to be first choice.

Just last month the Merseyside club turned down an offer of £72 million for the Brazilian flair player.

And according to The Telegraph after this latest “bid”, Liverpool now consider the matter “closed”.

However, reports in Spain seem to think the deal is a lot further down the line than people think.

ESPN say Anfield bosses have finally accepted a package which will see the Brazilian international quit Anfield and make a move to the Nou Camp.

The respected outlet say a group from Barca flew over to Liverpool on Monday for detailed talks with Liverpool bosses after failing with two earlier bids for the player.
