Three die in Dhaka road crashes

Three people, including one woman and one teenage boy, have been killed in as many road accidents in Dhaka city. 

The accidents occurred between 10 pm on Wednesday and 2 am on Thursday, police said. 

Sub-Inspector at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost, Md Bachchu Mia, said one unidentified woman (35) was run over by a car at Kawla around Wednesday midnight.

Habibur Rahman (25), a Savar garments factory worker, was crushed by a truck on his way back home from office in Mirpur Mazar road area around 10pm, he said.

The police officer said that identified as Habibur Rahman Habu (14), a worker at a nearby tobacco factory, he was hit by a car in the Uttara-1 sector around 2 am on Thursday. 

All the three victims were declared dead by on-duty doctors soon after they were brought to this hospital.
