Domestic help found dead at Banasree

Locals clash with police
A female domestic help was found dead at her employer's house at Banasree area of Dhaka on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Laili Aktar, 25.

After the information, local residents clashed with police and torched one car after and attacked the seven-storey building in Block-G of the area, alleging the woman was murdered.

They have laid a siege to the building since then. The car that was torched was parked in front of it, police said, reports bdnews24.com.

Amidst the clash, the police have detained the building's owner and Aktar's employer Munsi Moin Uddin and the security guard.

Earlier in the morning, Aktar was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctors declared her dead.
