Tamim joins Tigers conditioning camp

Bangladesh cricket team opening batsman Tamim Iqbal on Sunday joined the Tigers conditioning camp after missing out the first six days of the camp, reports UNB.

Ahead of the Test series against Australia at home and for an away series in South Africa, the Tigers started their conditioning camp at Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Academy Ground in Mirpur on July 10.

Tamim could not join the camp from the beginning as he was in England to play in the 4th NatWest T20 Blast for the Essex Eagles.

Playing out the only one game, Tamim cut off the Essex's stint showing 'personal reasons' and returned home on July 12.

Tamim left out the practice ground at noon but didn't share anything to the journalists about the much hyped 'hate crime attempt' on his family in England.

According to reports published in different media outlets on Wednesday last that Tamim along with his wife and son was targeted of a 'hate crime' in England, which was the reason behind the cut off the Essex's stint.

Tamim denied the allegation, saying "This is really not true."
