Rescuers retrieve three more bodies in Rangamati
Rescuers on Thursday retrieved three more bodies, including that of a soldier, from under chunks of mud in Rangamati district, which was hit by landslides on Tuesday.

The rescuers are continuing to look for more bodies on the third day after the worst landslides to hit three south-eastern districts.

Road communications between Rangamati and other parts of the country still remained cut off even as rescue operations continued across the hill district.

Rangamati Fire Service said that the bodies were found on Thursday morning at three different locations.

The deceased have been identified as Aziz, an army soldier posted at the Manikchhari camp, Rupan Dutta, a resident of Vedvedi and Maszidpara resident Sultana, said Fire Service Deputy Director Didarul Alam.
