DB detain ‘drug trader’ with 200 Phensedyl
Detective Branch (DB) of Jessore district police detained a suspected drug trader and seized 200 bottles of Phensedyl from Ishapur village in Sharsha upazila of Jessore district on Wednesday.

The arrestee was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 48, son of Shohar Ali of Patharghata village in Satkhira Sadar upazila, reports UNB.

Emaul Hossain, officer-in-charge of Jessore district DB police, said acting on secret information that four men were heading to Dhaka by a truck for selling phensedyl, the law enforcers conducted a drive in the area and seized the truck.

Later, the lawmen arrested Mizanur and recovered 200 bottles of phensedyl from the truck. 

However, three of them managed to flee the scene.

A case was filed with Kotwali Police Station in this connection.
