School headmaster among three killed in Comilla road crashes

Three people were killed and three others injured in separate road accidents at Kalakochua and Poduar bazar area on Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Tuesday.

Police said Md Kamrul Hasan, headmaster of Suhilpur Primary School and an unidentified man were killed at Kalakochua in Debidwar upazila around 11:00am when a Noakhali-bound bus hit their motorcycle, reports UNB.

Besides, Sirajul Islam, son of Abbas Ali of Kochua upazila in Chandpur district, was killed and three others were injured at Poduabazar in Sadar Dakkhin upazila around 7:00am when a fruits-laden truck plunged into a nearby ditch after its driver lost control over the steering.

Later locals rescued the injured and sent them to Comilla Medical College and Hospital.

Among the injured, two were refereed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) as their condition deteriorated.
