Bangladeshi killed in BSF firing
A Bangladeshi national was reportedly shot to death by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along Rokonpur border in Gomostapur upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Monday.

SM Zakaria, officer-in-charge of Gomostapur Police Station, said the BSF members opened firing on Shahlal, 22, son of Sirajul of Rokonpur village in the upazila, near pillar no 219/4 around 3:00am, leaving him dead on the spot, reports UNB.

Later, a team of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) went to the spot and recovered the bullet-hit body around 6:00am.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy.
