Tigers had an easy sail

TIGERS had an easy victory over Ireland in their 3rd match in the tri-nation series involving New Zealand. It will certainly boost their confidence as playing in those conditions is always very challenging. But the most satisfying factor for Bangladesh was the return to form by Mustafiz after a clueless performance in the IPL. In this match Mustafiz took four wickets and gave away only 23 runs in his 9 over spell. Masrafee also took two important wickets and tightened the noose for the Irish batsmen. The fiery spell of Mustafizur helped Bangladesh to post an emphatic win and made Bangladeshi fans happy to see Mustafizur taking wickets and gaining in confidence which would be a great impetus for him to do well in the Champion's Trophy.

Soumya sarkar and Tamim gave Bangladesh a solid start and made sure there are no hiccups later in the batting order. Soumya's unbeaten 87 in and Tamim's 47 helped the tigers cruise to victory in only 27.1 overs. Bangladesh has got a much needed practice before ICC Champion's Trophy gets underway.
