Police search Khaleda’s Gulshan office
Police have begun a search at BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office.

Sohrab who works at the office said police personnel entered the office at 7.30am on Saturday without any prior intimation.

"First they blocked both ends of the road number 86 in front of the office and then started the search," Sohrab said.

Gulshan police station OC Abu Bakr Siddique said, according to bdnews24.com, they have a search warrant for the office from court.

"We have court orders to check if there is anything in the office that could compromise national security. We are conducting the search accordingly," he said.

Police say they have information about some books brought to Khaleda's office and they are looking for that. 

But details were not available.
