Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Chittagong division and at a few places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Sylhet, Rangpur, Barisal and Khulna divisions in the next 24 hours till 6pm today (Wednesday), reports UNB.

Day temperature may rise by 1-2 degree Celsius and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, Met Office said.

The country's highest temperature 35.0 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Khepupara and lowest 20.1 degrees in Mymensingh.

The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka on Tuesday was 31.0 degrees Celsius while the lowest was 21.0 degrees.

The sun sets in the capital today (Wednesday) at 6:35 pm and rises tomorrow (Thursday) at 05:15am.
