Expatriate Welfare minister off to UAE 

Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam Monday left Dhaka for UAE on an official visit. 

The minister is accompanied by a seven-member high-level delegation to the oil-rich middle eastern nation. 

The main aim of the Bangladesh delegation's visit is to make the UAE market open for Bangladeshi workers, reports BSS citing an official release. 

During the visit, the Nurul will hold bilateral meeting with UAE's Human Resources and Emiratisation Minister Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash and Deputy Prime Minister and also Interior Minister Lt General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss various issues related to overseas employment generation and welfare of expatriate Bangladeshi workers. 

The minister is scheduled to return home on May 21.
