Being sick is not a good feeling, but not all can help it sometimes when the seasonal flu or other ailments take over health. It is important therefore for parents to pay attention to children's health right from an early age because those habits are what shows results in their future.

Being physically active, building immunity, engaging in new learning experiences can help children in a significant manner. Chronic physical illness in children is not an unknown phenomenon. And the worst part is that it increases the chances of them having depression and anxiety in adulthood, according to a recent study.

Researchers systematically reviewed evidence from a large number of medical studies, looking for associations between eight chronic physical illnesses in childhood, such as arthritis, asthma and cancer, and emotional problems experienced by the sufferers in later life, according to a media report.
