Two companies, mutual funds recommend dividend

Two listed companies and two mutual funds recommended dividends in last week.

Of the companies, the board of directors of Union Capital has recommended 10 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2016. The company disbursed 15 per cent cash dividend in previous year. The company has also reported consolidated EPS of Tk. 1.44, consolidated NAV per share of Tk. 17.80 and consolidated NOCFPS of Tk. 3.08 for the year ended on December 31, 2016 as against Tk. 1.31 (restated), Tk. 17.53 (restated) and Tk. 2.92 (restated) respectively for the same period of the previous year.

The board of directors of the Bay Leasing & Investment has recommended 15 per cent cash dividend against same amount of cash dividend in previous year. The company has reported consolidated EPS of Tk. 0.77, consolidated NAV per share of Tk. 20.19 and consolidated NOCFPS of Tk. (2.03) for the year ended on December 31, 2016 as against Tk. 0.73, Tk. 20.91 and Tk. (2.91) respectively for the same period of the previous year.

MIDAS Financing Limited has recommended 'No dividend' for the 18 months period from July 01, 2015 to December 31, 2016.

AIBL 1st Islamic Mutual Fund has recommended 7.0 per cent cash dividend against 13 per cent cash dividend recommended disbursed in previous year. The fund has also reported EPU (earning per unit) of Tk. 0.50, NAV per unit at cost price of Tk. 10.72, NAV per unit at market price of Tk. 11.38 and NOCFPU (net operating cash flow per unit) of Tk. 0.76 for the year ended on March 31, 2017 as against Tk. 1.71, Tk. 11.61, Tk. 11.52 and Tk. 0.41 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

MBL 1st Mutual Fund has recommended 8.0 per cent cash dividend against 10 per cash dividend disbursed in previous year. The fund has also reported EPU of Tk. 0.78, NAV per unit at cost price of Tk. 10.81, NAV per unit at market price of Tk. 11.99 and NOCFPU of Tk. 0.72 for the year ended on March 31, 2017 as against Tk. 1.39, Tk. 11.39, Tk. 11.03 and Tk. 1.05 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
