A woman was killed allegedly by her husband at Badda area in Dhaka on Saturday morning over family feud.

The deceased, Tahmina Aktar Makki, 45, was a teacher of a madrasha, reports UNB.

Tahmina’s husband, Shah Alam hailing from Shidhalpur village of Shariatpur’s Damudda upazila, hit her with a brick following a family feud, leaving her seriously injured in the early hours on Saturday, said Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police out-post.

Hearing Tahmina’s scream their three children woke up from sleep and knocked the door of their parent’s room repeatedly.

When Shah Alam opened the door they found their mother lying on the floor with severe injuries.
