Power generation at two APSCL units resumes



BRAHMANBARIA, Apr 20: Production at two of the three units of Ashuganj power station resumed Thursday morning. Power generation at three units of Ashuganj Power Station Company Ltd (APSCL) stopped on Wednesday evening. Power generation at unit-4 having the capacity of 150 MW and 225 MW combined cycle power plant restarted at 8:00 am after around 12 hours, said Md Shah Alam, APSCL chief engineer. However, production at the 130mw unit-3 was kept suspended following low demand from the national grid, although it was fully active, he said.    — UNB
