Japan wants to take manpower from BD
Japan has expressed its keenness to take skilled man-power from Bangladesh for different sectors, including agriculture and construction.
Senior Vice President of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Hidetoshi Irigaki said it to Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam when the latter called on the former at JICA headquarters in Japan on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they held discussions on different issues related to the mutual interests of the two friendly countries, reports BSS citing a press release on Thursday.
The JICA vice-president also gave an assurance of giving grant for setting up Japanese Language and Skill Training Centre in Bangladesh. The centre will be built at TIC in Chittagong, the release added.
