Chuadanga fish trader shot dead
A fish trader was shot to death by miscreants over previous enmity at Kayetpara village in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga on Wednesday.

Police said a group of 10/12 miscreants opened fire on Ziaur Rahman, 40, son of late Abul Hossain, around 3:30 am while he was returning home from his fish enclosure, leaving him dead on the spot, reports UNB.

On information, police recovered the body around 9:30 am from a paddy field and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy, said Additional Superintendent of Police Belayet Hossain.

Ziaur was the president of Kayetpara Baor Fisheries Samity, Belayet said, adding that he might was killed over Baor-related dispute.

Meanwhile, police arrested one Selim over the incident.
