MAGURA, Mar 19: Magura Press Club president Sharif Amirul Hasan Bulu  passed away on Saturday. He was 67.

 He sustained cardiac arrest while he was performing his professional duty at Magura Press Club. He was sent to Magura Sadar Hospital after he fell sick. But he was not responding well to treatment there and he died.  

In 1975 he started working as a journalist as the Magura Sub-division correspondent of the daily Sangbad. He was working as the district correspondent of Bangla Vision TV, Dainik Jugantar and Bangladesh Betar till the last day of his life. He was also an eminent lawyer at Magura Judge Court. He was one of the founders of Magura Press Club.

Bulu, a very popular person in Magura, left behind his two daughters, son, wife and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death. He was buried in the Magura municipality graveyard after his Namaz- e- janaja on the Magura Government HSS University College premises.
