Two drug peddlers held with 3.5 kg hemp in Magura
Police in a raid arrested two alleged drug peddlers along with 3.5 kilograms of hemp from Chatrakandi Dariapur village in sadar upazila of Magura district on Friday night.
The arrestees were identified as Akul Mollah, 45, son of Razzak Mollas of Srirampur village and Kabirul Kajol, son of Rahim Lashkar of Narihati village, according to UNB report.
Ajmal Huda, officer-in-charge of Magura Police Station, said tipped off a team of police conducted the drive there and arrested the duo and seized the hemp.
A case was filed in this connection.
