Bangladeshi soldier dies in Kuwait road crash

A Bangladeshi soldier has died as a military vehicle he was travelling in toppled on Subbiya road in Kuwait, reports The Arab Times. 

An officer of rank ‘First Lieutenant’ also sustained injuries, the English-language daily said in its report datelining March 14, Kuwait City. 

Identities of the two, however, could not be known from the report.

Kuwaiti newspaper The Arab Times also reports, the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior came to know about this and took prompt action. 

Quoting security sources, it adds, security men and paramedics rushed to the scene only to discover the soldier as dead and the officer injured. 

The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department and the injured officer was referred to the Jahra Hospital.
