After the rally, the journalists brought out a procession on Topkhana Road. Before going to information ministry to submit a memorandum, the journalist leaders thanked their members in Dhaka and all affiliated unions for making the programme a success.
Later, they went to the ministry of information where secretary of the ministry Martuza Ahmed received the memorandum on behalf of the minister as he was not present.
