Two workers die in Rangpur road crash
Two workers were killed in a head-on collision between two trucks at Boirigonj in Mithapakur upazila early Saturday, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Shahjahan Ali, 50, of Chithli Dakkhinpara village, and Limon Miah, 20, of Mukimpur village of the upazila. Both of them had been working as carpenter.

Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Mithapakur Police Station, said the duo fell from a running wood laden truck when it collided head on against a potato leaden truck at 4.00pm, leaving Shahjahan Ali dead on the spot and Limon Miah critically injured.

Limon succumbed to his injuries after he was taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

The bodies were kept at the Rangpur Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, added the OC.
