India wants peace in Myanmar: Shringla

India wants peace in Myanmar: Shringla
Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Saturday said that his country wants to see peace in Myanmar.

The Indian envoy came up with the assertion after a discussion held on India’s Constitution Day. The discussion was organised by India-Bangladesh Friendship Society at CIRDAP auditorium on Saturday.

“India hopes that the Rohingya issue will be solved through discussions among all parties,” Shringla said.

Mentioning Bangladesh foreign minister’s briefing on Rohingya influx into Bangladesh, Shringla said, “We want to see peace in all neighboring countries”, according to a news agency. – bz
