Construction work on 10-storied BAPARD going on in Kotalipara

GOPALGANJ, Nov 21: The construction work on ten-storied Bangabandhu Academy for Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development (BAPARD) at Kotalipara in the district is going on in full swing.

Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Gopalganj sources said the work of the project was started on January 7, 2015.

Mir Akhter Hossain Limited, a construction company, took the responsibility of constructing the building under the supervision of LGED at a cost of Tk 990.2 million. Bangladesh government is the fund provider.

AK Fazlul Haque, executive engineer of LGED, Gopalganj, said about 60 per cent work of the project have already been completed. The work is expected to be completed by June 30, 2017, he added.
