Walk-in Indian visa process for Bangladeshi students on October 22

Student-friendly Indian visa process
The Indian High Commission in Dhaka has offered an e-token free day for Bangladeshi students seeking Indian visa.

They must at least be 18 years of age, reports bdnews24.com

On Oct 22, Saturday, which is otherwise a holiday, they can just walk-in without a prior online appointment from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Indian Visa Application Centre at Gulshan-1 and submit their visa applications.

They must be enrolled in full-time degree programmes in colleges or universities and were asked to carry their original ID cards issued by the University or College and attach a photocopy of the same with the visa application form.

"This is a goodwill gesture extended to University students to facilitate ease of securing Indian visas and strengthen people-to-people contacts between India and Bangladesh," the High Commission said.
