Maritime ports asked to hoist signal No 3
The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been asked to hoist local cautionary signal No 3 as deep convection is continuing over the North Bay and adjoining coastal areas.

Squally weather may affect the maritime ports, the North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh, a Met office bulletin says.

All fishing boats and trawlers over the north Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice, according to a news agency. – bz
