Tigers take on England in ODI series deciding match today
Heavy rain in Chittagong likely
CHITTAGONG, Oct. 11 (BSS): Motivated Bangladesh take on visiting England in the series deciding third and final ODI of the Rocket three-match ODI series scheduled to be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Private satellite channel Gazi TV telecast the day/night match live that kicks off at 2.30 pm. The Tigers have the chance to become only the second team in the sub-continent to win seven home bilateral ODI series in a row, and England will have a try to stop them from doing it.
There has been 30mm of rain in Chittagong in the last 24 hours and there is heavy rain in the forecast throughout tomorrow (Wednesday), leaving to stage the third ODI in doubt.
The English side may have a case for Sam Billings at the top order with Ben Duckett replacing James Vince as the opener. There is very little chance for any other changes given how their bowlers performed.
The home side will have another chance to right their top and middle-order wrongs, and find a way to raise their run-rate in the last ten overs.
Bangladesh (probable): Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Shakib Al Hasan, Mosaddek Hossain, Nasir Hossain, Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), Shafiul Islam, Taskin Ahmed.
England (probable): Jason Roy, James Vince, Ben Duckett, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler (captain and wicket keeper), Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, David Willey, Jake Ball.
