PM proposes network among southern developing nations
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has proposed forming a South-South Network for the promotion of international co-operation and sharing of experience among developing nations. Her remarks came on Tuesday when she spoke at a seminar in the conference room of the UN Headquarters in New York, said the PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim.
Bangladesh and the UN Office for South-South Cooperation jointly hosted the seminar on the theme, 'South South and Triangular Co-operation in Scaling up Innovation in Public Service Delivery.'
The proposed network would yield new concepts and create room for learning through sharing experiences, said Sheikh Hasina who is now in New York joining the 71st UN General Assembly, according to a news agency. -bz
