The special managers' conference-2009 was organised by Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) at a city hotel Friday, said a press release.

SJIBL Chairman Engr Md Towhidur Rahman was present as the chief guest at the conference while its Managing Director Mohammed Ali presided over the function.

Executives of head office, branch managers, deputy managers of 42 branches, off-shore banking unit and SME service centres of the bank took part in the conference.

The meeting also evaluated the performance of the last 10 months of the current year and adopted necessary steps to achieve the target.
