LankaBangla Finance Ltd is going to issue Visa cards under a co-branding arrangement.

An agreement to this effect was signed among Mercantile Bank Ltd, LankaBangla Finance Ltd and IT Consultant Ltd in the city recently.

Under the deal, LankaBangla Finance Ltd would issue Visa cards under a co-branding arrangement with Mercantile Bank.

IT Consultant Ltd will provide technical support for the initiative.

LankaBangla Finance Ltd now can issue both Master and Visa cards to its customers.

Dewan Mujibur Rahman, managing director and CEO of Mercantile Bank, Mafizuddin Sarker, managing director and CEO of LankaBangla Finance Ltd, and Kazi Saifuddin Munir, managing director of IT Consultant Ltd, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

AKM Shahidul Haque, additional managing director of Mercantile Bank, AKM Rezaul Karim, AVP and head of cards, Lankabangla Finance Ltd, among others, were present on the occasion, according to a press release.
