Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTBL) arranged a day-long workshop on "Internal Control and Compliance" for the senior officials of the bank at its training institute in the city recently.

A total of 28 officials of the bank took part in the workshop, the bank said in a statement.

MTBL Deputy Managing Director Md Ahsan-uz Zaman inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest while Bangladesh Bank Deputy General Manager Sheikh Mozaffar Hossain and Joint Director Md Tofazzal Hossain conducted the workshop as resource persons.

Principal of MTBL Training Institute Md Sirajul Haque presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Zaman said that the bank had placed top priority on adhering to the laws prevailing in the country. He also expected that this workshop would help the officials enhance operational efficiency, transparency and accountability of the organisation and strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the Bangladesh Bank.
