The examination for Associateship of Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII) was held at the training centre of Bangladesh Insurance Association in the city recently.

Ms Wahida Shariff and Ms Selvi of the Malaysian Insurance Institute came to Dhaka to conduct the examination, according to a press release.

A total of 25 senior-level executives from life and general insurance companies of the country, including Sadharan Bima Corporation (SBC), appeared in the examination.

Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA) and Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on April 29 this year for conducting the examination of AMII course which was recognised as one of the highest degrees in the world insurance market.
