The ninth annual general meeting (AGM) of ICB Asset Management Co Ltd (ICB AMCL), a subsidiary of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB), was held at its head office in the city Monday.

MA Motalib Chowdhury, chairman of the board of directors of the company, presided over the AGM.

Directors' report to the shareholders and annual accounts of the company for the fiscal 2008-2009 were approved in the AGM, according to a press release.

During the fiscal 2008-09, the company earned a net profit of Tk 79.39 million (Tk 793.96 lakh), which was Tk 52.31 million (523.19) in the previous year.

Earnings per share of Tk 100.00 each stood at Tk 105.86.

The shareholders approved 60 per cent stock dividend (bonus share) for the fiscal 2008-2009, the press release added.
