The seventh extra-ordinary general meeting (EGM) of Prime Bank Limited was held at Gulshan Shooting Complex in the city Tuesday.

Chairman of the Executive Committee of the bank Imam Anwar Hossain presided over the meeting. Quazi Sirazul Islam, vice-chairman of' the board of directors, Manzur Murshed, director and M Ehsanul Haque, Managing Director of the bank were present in the meeting.

The meeting took a unanimous decision to raise bank's capital by floating subordinate unsecured bond worth Tk.2.5 billion subject to approval of the Regulatory Authorities.

Deputy managing directors Md Mehmood Husain, M Reazul Karim, Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury, Isbahul Bar Chowdhury, Company Secretary AFM Asaduzzaman and a large number of shareholders of the bank also attended the meeting.
