Arab Bangladesh Bank Foundation (ABBF) donated over Tk 1.2 million (12,41,000) to Bangladesh Organisation for Disabled Advancement (BODA) as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

BODA is a non-political, non-governmental voluntary organisation working for the betterment of persons with disabilities since its inception in 1994.

The donation will be used for providing Brail Support to visually impaired students to promote accessible education in order to make them self reliant.

Earlier, ABBF also gave BODA Tk 19, 50,000 to implement first and second phase project of 'Mainstreaming of persons with disabilities through applied ICT Training'.

ABBF Director Kaiser A Chowdhury and Executive Director of BODA M Khalilur Rahman signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at AB Bank Head Office in the city recently. Senior officials from both of the organisations were also present at the signing ceremony.
