Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) began celebrating its 10th founding anniversary Saturday through voluntary blood donation programmes in Dhaka and Chittagong, said a press release.

MTB officials from different branches and offices across the country took part in the programme.

Blood collected from the programme would be dedicated to save lives of severely ill patients. The MTB has drawn up an elaborate programme including various corporate social responsibility (CSR) events, to be held over one year starting Saturday and ending on October 23, 2010 to mark the 10th founding anniversary of the bank.

The bank started its journey on October 24, 1999 at the initiative of leading and highly reputable business personalities of the country.
